It's me vs. $trick9. Yeah, it's kind of sad, but I still owned his ass!

Yeah, that's right, I'm awesome
Guess who's interviewing a little known singer by the name of DEBBIE GIBSON! Next week? Hey Joe, what are you doing tonight? Oh, nothing, just watching Debbie Gibson play Jean Valjean! Wait, that last part doesn't really work. Also, I'm not that excited, though she is hot.

I'm going to wash you right out of my hair
I haven't posted a lot lately, sorry about that. I've become addicted to Myspace and Livejournal has fallen by the wayside. I've spent the past two months dealing with a breakup, and everytime I think I'm over it, something reopens the wound.

My foremost strategy is to not see her anymore. This means giving up one of my favorite activities, iPod Monday. It's Des Moines, so of course I'm going to run into her, but I can try to limit that. Unfortunately, this probably means not seeing some of my friends for awhile. They'll be at Rock & Roll Bingo, at least.

Longer term plans include leaving town. I'm not sure Des Moines has what I'm looking for. Of course, I'm not sure what I'm looking for, or where it might be, but Des Moines is starting to feel limiting.

I might just be talking out my ass. Maybe everything will feel different tomorrow.

It's been awhile
I thought I would post the films I saw last year. I'm not counting anything I saw on DVD and films I saw more than once only count for 1 film. In total I saw 50 films this year in the theater

I feel like I haven't slept in weeks.
I am sleeping. Not well, and with the aid of some pills, but it is sleep. During the day I feel like I'm sleep walking. I need some REM sleep badly. I've also been waking up drenched in sweat, but I don't know that that is related to my troubles.

Getting rid of shit
I'm going to be unloading some of my DVDs soon, mostly stuff I realize I will never watch again, or maybe even never get around to watching for the first time.

Here's the list, if anyone sees anything that grabs them, make me an offer:

I'm only not sleeping
I went to bed at about 11:30 last night and finally fell asleep around 3 a.m. I hate not being able to sleep. I think tonight I'm turning to sleeping pills.

I swear
Is there some rule that people have to be miserable through their 20s? I feel like I'm in middle school all over again.

My aching crap factory
I tried to eat a 2lb burger tonight. That's a lot of food. I think I ate more than a pound.

Hair today, gone tomorrow
I got about six inches cut off my hair today. It doesn't look a lot shorter, but it looks much better. No more split ends. I'm thinking I'm going to keep long hair until my birthday in March, then I'm giving short hair a try.

Happy Guy Fawkes Day! I'd repost the picture of me, but it's just one post below.

My Halloween costume
I freaked a few people out with this. I saw my brother and followed him around for awhile, poking him and stuff until I revealed who I was:

What is up with iphoto?
It used to be so easy to use. Now I can't find the export option, which used to make it so easy to resize photos. Also, I can't seem to save an item that was shot horizontally so that it shows up vertically anymore. I save it, and when I open it, it looks like it should, but when I upload it to a server it always shows up horizontal again.

Bah!

Stupid ebayers
I've made about $150 in the last week putting some comics I don't want anymore on ebay. I also put up the new special edition of Batman & Robin. I bought the new Batman Anthology box set because it was cheaper to get the four together then the first three seperately. Two hours before the end of the auction the high bidder e-mails me saying he didn't realize it was a widescreen copy (despite the auction saying this) and asking if I have a full screen copy.

Now, there isn't a full screen copy available, but even if there is, why would you want it? (Aside from having to see less of the movie, I guess that's a plus in this case.) Full screen is the devil.

Old-timey dinner
Last night the staff went out for an 1875 dinner at Living History Farms. It was pretty awesome, we had chicken, some potatoes with a weird name, macaroni & cheese, fresh roles, some kind of tomatoes, vegetable soup, lemon ice and "fancy cake." It was like Thanksgiving, I was so damn stuffed.

After dinner there were parlor games, where I was given a "forfeit" for being too sugestive for the era. I made a woman say "ass."

It's been awhile.
Sorry it's been so long since I've updated. I've been crazy busy with our bar issue. This weekend I probably hit 6-7 bars for last minute sidebars. I also went to a party at iPod Monday Alyssa's house, which was populated by many other iPod Monday people.

Berkleigh was nervous, because she wasn't sure that the girls at IPM liked her, but by the end of the night they were old friends. It probably helped that she mixed some awesome girly drinks, then spent a lot of time holding back Heather's hair in the bathroom. "Berkleigh is awesome!" Heather drunkenly told me later. I know.

I put a ton of stuff on ebay this weekend, including Teen Titans issues 1-24. They sold for $50, I probably could have gotten more without the Buy it Now option, but I'm glad to have some stuff out of my place. I was going to put Crisis on Infinite Earths 1-12 up, but I can't find issue one.

I'll try to find time to complete the list Steve tagged me with later today.
